Adoption

A structured approach to adoption is important to the success of a unified communications project. Up to 80% of the benefits of unified communications come from people changing their behaviour, however, that’s not so easy! A strong adoption strategy will help to engage users to use Skype for Business which in turn will help the organisation achieve the benefits it is expecting. Here we provide questions to make you think about your approach to adoption and assess whether your strategy will make sure you achieve the return on investment you are expecting.

Managing Complex Change

The Knoster Model for Managing Complex Change is a useful framework to thinking about change management. According to Knoster, there are five elements required for effective change: vision, skills, incentives, resources and an action plan. If those leading change fail to put any one of these elements in place, then the change efforts will fail. This model can be a helpful way for planning as well as diagnosing what might be needed when plans go awry.
