Overview

Unified Communications can help facilitate many cost reductions, however, these savings can’t be delivered by implementing the technology alone.  The readiness stage is where you gather the required information to understand the impact UC will have on your business.  Using various impact assessments, you’ll be able to gather enough information about the financial, technological and equally important ‘people’ impact.  This information will help you understand key points in the project and communicate the ‘why’ to your organisation from both personal and business point of view.  This is crucial information that will form part of your adoption campaign throughout your project.

UC Assessment Tool

The purpose of this tool is to help you work out if a Unified Communications (UC) solution such as Skype for Business or Teams is right for your business. The tool is best used in a session facilitated by an experienced Exactive UC consultant but these instructions will help you use it yourself or with colleagues. For best results, we advise you work through this with representatives of different areas of the business including finance and HR. You'll be surprised how people from different areas in your business will score the same statement at opposite ends of the scale. There are no right or wrong answers and when there are conflicting views can be a good thing as it challenges people to think differently about the situation.
